January 11, 2010A sudden illness, an accident or an assault – these are all traumatic experiences which can upset and distress us. They arouse powerful and disturbing feelings in us, which usually settle in time without any professional help.
What happens immediately after a trauma is shock – you feel, stunned or dazed or numb; Denial – you can’t accept that it has happened – so you behave as though it hasn’t
When you are in shock , you should do the following
- Give yourself time
It takes time – weeks or months – to accept what has happened and to learn to live with it. You may need to grieve for what (or who) you have lost. - Find out what happened
It is better to face the reality of what happened rather than wondering about what might have happened. - Be involved with other survivors
If you go to funerals or memorial services, this may help you to come to terms with what has happened. It can help to spend time with others who have been through the same experience as you. - Ask for support
It can be a relief to talk about what happened. You may need to ask your friends and family for the time to do this – at first they will probably not know what to say or do. - Take some time for yourself
At times you may want to be alone or just with those close to you. - Talk it over
Bit by bit, let yourself think about the trauma and talk about it with others. Don’t worry if you cry when you talk, it’s natural and usually helpful. Take things at a pace that you feel comfortable with. - Get into a routine
Even if you don’t feel much like eating, try to have regular meals and to eat a balanced diet. Taking some exercise can help – but start gently. - Do some “normal” things with other people
Sometimes you will want to be with other people, but not to talk about what has happened. This can also be part of the healing process. - Take care
After a trauma, people are more likely to have accidents. Be careful around the home and when you are driving.

Kwa upande mwingine mitandao isiyokuwa na waya umekuwa maarufu sana kwa wasafiri kwani ndiyo njia kubwa ya kuunganishwa katika mtandao wa internet wanapokuwa nje ya ofisi zao au nyumbani kwao , wasafiri wengi wanaangalia barua pepe na kufanya mambo mengi wanapokuwa safarini,wakiwezeshwa na mitandao ya bila waya.

Mitandao hii ipo kila mahali , katika viwanja vya ndege, mahotelini, bar, katika maktaba, nk.
Lakini tatizo kubwa ni ulinzi wa maswala yako muhimu katika komputa yako, na hasa unapokuwa umeunganishwa katika mtandao wa internet. Kwa kizungu inasemwa “ all hostpot wireless network have one thing in common—they are all open networks that are vulnerable to security breaches”
Sasa hapa chini nakupa vidokezo vya kujilinda unaokuwa katika wireless hotspot mahali popote. Vidokezo hivi vipo kwa kizungu.
1. Try to choose more secure connections
It’s not always possible to choose your connection type—but when you can, opt for wireless networks that require a network security key or have some other form of security, such as a certificate. The information sent over these networks is encrypted
2. Make sure your firewall is activated
A firewall helps protect your mobile PC by preventing unauthorized users from gaining access to your computer through the Internet or a network. It acts as a barrier that checks all incoming information, and then either blocks the information or allows it to come through.
3. Monitor your access points
Chances are that there are multiple wireless networks anywhere you’re trying to connect. configuring your PC to let you approve access points before you connect.
4. Disable file and printer sharing
File and printer sharing is a feature that enables other computers on a network to access resources on your computer. When you are using your mobile PC in a hotspot, it’s best to disable file and printer sharing—when it’s enabled, it leaves your computer vulnerable to hackers. Remember, though, to turn this feature back on when you return to the office.
5. Make your folders private
When the folders on your mobile PC are private, it’s more difficult for hackers to access your files.
6. Encrypt your files
You can protect your files further by encrypting them, which requires a password to open or modify them. Because you must perform this procedure on one file at a time, consider password-protecting only the files that you plan to use while working in a public place.
7. Consider completely removing sensitive data from your notebook PC
If you’re working with extremely sensitive data, it might be worth taking it off your notebook PC altogether. Instead, save it on a corporate network share and access it only when necessary. This way, you have multiple safeguards in place.
A few simple precautions can help make working in public places more secure. And by selecting the best connections and adjusting settings, you can enjoy productive and safe work sessions no matter where you are.

Chura huyu alizaliwa katika kidimbwi kidogo cha maji, basi alikuliwa pale akidhani hiyo ndo sehemu yenye maji mengi kuliko sehemu yeyote, aliishi na kufurahi siku zote. Siku moja katika kucheza kwake, akaruka na kuona bwawa kubwa , akashangaa na kusema kumbe kuna sehemu yenye maji mengi kuliko pale nilipo. Basi akaishi pale kwa muda, lakini akajisemea kama nimeona hapa pengine ipo sehemu kuna maji mengi zaidi, hivyo akaamua kutembe zaidi, na katika kutembea kwake akakutana na ziwa , hapo akashangaa zaidi. Maisha yaliendelea na haikuishia hapo alivyozidi kukua akazidi kutembea na kutafuta kama kuna sehemu yenye maji mengi zaidi, na siku moja akaona bahari, hapo ndipo aliposhangaa kupita kiasi kwani alikua aliangalia pande zote lakini hakuaona mwisho wa bahari. Akajisemea kumbe nilipokuwa naishi palikuwa kama tone la maji.
Je wewe upo wapi?, bado upo pale kwenye kadimbwi kadogo ka maji, unatakiwa kuangaza na kupanua wigo wako, katika kila jambo, katika elimu yako, katita biashara zako,katika kazi zako, angalia maeneo mambyo yana maji mengi, kama alivyofanya chura yule mdogo, hakuridhika mpaka alipofika baharini. Bahari yako ipo inakungoja, anza kufanyia kazi sasa, usikubali kukaa katika kidimbwi hicho kidogo, fungua upeo wako wa kufikiri na jiendeleze katika kila jambo.
